OPTICAL SMOKE & HEAT DETECTION
Our advanced optical smoke and heat detectors are strategically installed throughout the rolling stock, ensuring early identification of smoke and rising temperatures. This enables a swift response to potential fire hazards, protecting passengers and critical infrastructure.
ASPIRATION SMOKE DETECTION
Air-sampling smoke detectors continuously monitor the smoke level in key areas of the rolling stock. This allows for the early detection of smoke, even in challenging environments or areas that are hard to reach, ensuring proactive fire prevention.
LINEAR HEAT DETECTION
Linear heat detection offers comprehensive coverage by alerting to potential overheating or fire hazards along cable runs, technical areas and narrow spaces. This provides rapid alerts to overheating or fire hazards, enhancing the safety and reliability of operations while requiring minimal maintenance.
FIRE EXTINGUISHING AEROSOLS
We offer fire extinguishing aerosol for confined spaces, such as engine compartments and electrical cabinets. These systems quickly suppress fires and combustion with minimal impact, improving the safety of both passengers and onboard equipment.
FIRE SUPPRESSION BY WATER MIST
Our high-pressure water mist system effectively suppresses fires by using nitrogen to pressurize water bottles, which then deliver high-pressure water to nozzles, creating a very fine water mist. This approach minimizes water damage to the rolling stock’s interior and reduces the amount of water needed compared to a normal water mist or sprinkler system, lowering the overall weight the train carries.
TCMS COMMUNICATION
All our systems can seamlessly integrate with the Train Control and Management System (TCMS), enabling real-time monitoring and response to fire incidents. This integration not only improves situational awareness but also provides valuable data to predict and reduce the need for corrective maintenance of the Fire Detection and Suppression (FDS) systems.
