Quickly and easily carry out an air quality test? Then use Gastec gas detection tubes. With a gas detection tube you can take a sample of the air in, for example, a shipping container. There are more than 500 types of tubes, with which many gases can be specifically detected.

Container ships from all over the world arrive at the various ports, with containers that have been gassed to fight pests. Safe entry and unloading of the containers is not possible just like that. First of all, the containers must certified to be free of harmful gas concentrations as required in the Netherlands by the SER (Social Economic Council). To carry out these measurements, i.e. to obtain the gas-free declaration, we have Gastec detection tubes with which a sample can easily be taken from the air in the container. The tube contains a substance that discolors when it reacts with the gas. The degree of discoloration indicates the concentration of the gas in the container.

With these gas detection tubes everyone can trace gases at any time. For the specialist who often carries out container measurements, we supply a complete container measuring set including a multiple gas detector with pump, a measuring probe with tubing and filter, Gastec pump set and detection tubes.
Of course, you can put the set together with the specific types of gas relevant to your requirements.
