The cruise industry gradually returns to normal. To become even stronger in this sector, Consilium Safety Group recently acquired a majority of the shares in Microdata – experts in fire detection systems for cruise ships. Microdata was founded in 1974, has about 25 employees and is based in the Italian region of Liguria.
Consilium Safety Group and Microdata have a long history of working together. The collaboration will now be intensified, and the ambition is to grow the marine safety market, especially within fire detection. Consilium Safety Group’s global service organization has already started training technicians and service staff in Microdata’s products.
