Consilium expands Australian presence to strengthen customer closeness and enhance local support

Consilium Safety Group is proud to announce the opening of its second office in Australia, located in the city of Perth. This strategic expansion reinforces Consilium’s commitment to providing close, local support to its clients and partners across Australia.

“Having a presence in both Sydney and Perth allows us to offer more immediate service to our customers across this large, important market,” says Marcus Andersson, CCO at Consilium Safety Group. “Proximity to our customers enhances our ability to respond quickly and efficiently, which is essential in the safety industry.”

Perth, one of Australia’s largest and most important port cities, offers tremendous opportunities for Consilium’s core product lines, including fire, gas, and flame detection systems.

By establishing a presence on the West Coast, Consilium is now better positioned to support clients in the region. The location will serve both marine clients – taking advantage of Perth’s status as a major port city – and the rapidly expanding rolling stock sector.

Closer than ever to key Australian ports

The decision to open an office in Perth comes after several years of steady growth in Australia. With a local team established Consilium will be able to offer faster, on-site services that were previously reliant on travel from Sydney, improving response times and reducing environmental impact in line with the company’s ESG strategy.

“This expansion is a natural development following our successful entry on the East Coast of Australia. By reducing the need for long-distance travel, we’re improving efficiency and contributing to more sustainable operations,” says Marcus Andersson.

“With our local presence, expanded service network and unmatched expertise, we can now deliver safety solutions faster and offer immediate support to Australian clients, ensuring ongoing reliability in safety-critical environments. Our local team at Consilium is incredibly dedicated and has been essential in making this opening a success, “ says Kirsty Fillis, Managing Director of Consilium Safety Australia.
