At Forwarding, we are now looking for a new colleague for our team. The team consists of five forwarding agents, who work in close collaboration and share their knowledge. The role means a high level of service and a willingness to cope with everything that is put on the table.
As an order administrator / forwarder, you work with booking couriers, flights, sea and car shipments to countries both within and outside the EU as well as domestic. The tasks involve interpreting shipping instructions, informing about any deviations to order holders and taking into account payment and delivery terms.
The department also handles letter of credit presentations to the bank, reporting statistics, quotations and price inquiries and examining export documents.
Your profile
We are looking for you who has experience working as a forwarding agent or forwarding assistant. You bring strong attention to detail as it is required that you carefully follow the instructions and templates that are available, as some shipments contain dangerous goods. To be able to see the big picture is important in this position and to ensure reporting is done when something goes wrong. Ability to handle a fast paced environment with high demands on accuracy and collaboration is key. Experience working in PC-based Windows software such as MS Word, MS Excel and similar database software is needed. Knowledge of LC and experience of L / C presentation to the bank, DGR (Dangerous goods) and customs when it comes to export or import is a plus. English is required both in speaking and writing.
